We are a spin-off of the University of Murcia derived from the “Biochemistry and Enzyme Biotechnology group”
With more than 20 years of experience in betalains research and in the evaluation of bioactivities of natural and artificial compounds.
Our initial basic research has derived into the development of procedures for the synthesis of pure compounds and into techniques for the characterization of health-promoting activities of application in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
